What will I achieve in my first 12 months?

  • This is an exciting opportunity to start a new career that makes a positive difference to people’s health, where you will be given all the training, tools and support you need to become a fully qualified Foot Health Practitioner.
  • For a period of up to six months, you will work your way through a comprehensive and structured training program that includes periods of self study and observations with our experienced foot health professionals.
  • As part of the training program, you will complete the Diploma in Foot Health Practice with The College of Foot Health Practitioners. Our training schedule will provide you with plenty of time for studying towards this diploma, whilst giving you exposure to how our private clinics and podiatry appointments work. Once you have successfully completed your training program, you will begin treating patients under supervision, before commencing your own list where you will enjoy a varied caseload that includes general foot care, verruca, and fungal nail treatments.
  • You’ll develop an understanding of all of the services we offer and be an important part of our multidisciplinary team, learning how to make recommendations and refer patients to our other services when required.
  • You’ll be given regular feedback, performance reviews, and training opportunities. In return, you’ll be sharing your knowledge with your team, learning from other health professionals supporting their growth in return, and seeking ways for us to improve our Podiatry service continually.

Finally, let’s not forget that you will also be attending a social event or two (or three..), which will help you build relationships with your team and are always good fun (if we say so ourselves).

Why should I come and join the team at Hatt’s?

  • You want to join a supportive and friendly team that are all motivated and focused on the same thing; inspiring and motivating people to prioritise their body’s health.
  • You want to join a company who has your back and looks after you from Day 1 with structured training and support, regular feedback and where you are rewarded for high performance.
  • You like the idea of working in smart, modern clinics (with the added bonus of air conditioning for those hot summer months), alongside a team you genuinely enjoy working with.
  • Perhaps you want to improve your own health and wellbeing? We will give you a free weekly Strength & Movement or Pilates class (you choose) and a generous 50% off our other services.

Okay, I like the sound of this. What do you need from me?

We’re happy you asked…

You’ll need:

  • A desire to become a Foot Health Practitioner and commit to a six month training program to achieve this.
  • This is a training role that requires a three year minimum commitment, so you’ll need to be prepared to commit to the role at Hatt’s for this length of time.
  • A full driving license and access to your own vehicle.
  • To enjoy working as part of a team (and making the most of an active social calendar).
  • To welcome and encourage feedback and coaching to develop your skills.
  • A solution focused approach.
  • The energy and drive to help us deliver our mission – to keep people moving and active!
  • A passion for all things feet and a desire to be challenged to be the best you can be

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
