Clinical team
Jonathan Cole’s story
Hi, I’m Jon. I’ve been part of the Hatt team since 2017 and am now a senior member of the Manual Therapy team. I’ve also taken on the role of a Strength and Movement Instructor as I work towards my longer-term goals.
Working within the Hatt clinic has vastly broadened my experience and knowledge within the therapy field. This has been achieved through supported CPD opportunities, regular service-specific training, being part of a wider multidisciplinary team, and through the range of patients that we get to see and work with on a daily basis.
Hatt’s pick the people first, and the skillset (closely) second. When I initially applied for a role here, I didn’t quite match what they were looking for at the time. However, despite that, I received a call from the directors following my interview to say that they’ve created a new role for me that is a better fit for my skill set – how happy was I!
This forward-thinking approach really shows, and it’s the people that really make this place tick. Just like any other career, there are challenges at times, but the shared support from the top to help you develop long term, and the day-to-day support from colleagues makes the difference.
In the unique few years surrounding the COVID pandemic, the directors and management team have been utterly positive and supportive throughout, always with eyes to adapt and navigate towards the end that was eventually in sight. Things have changed over the past couple of years but the goal stays the same – provide the best care possible to those that need it.
It’s a work-hard, play-hard environment at Hatt’s and I can’t wait to see what’s next.
