What it’s like to be a patient at Hatts

Mary Elizabeth Kerr

Josh had my full history to hand and following recent update, he asked me to do some exercise he set and then did hot stone and massage. Area certainly feels easier today. Few aches from treatment as discussed. Fully professional throughout.

Harry was very helpful and gave a full and clear introduction to the Pilates classes and programme offered at Hatts. He was also getting to know my reason for coming to attend the Pilates Classes. He was able to refer to my previous visits for help from Hatts. He was efficient and also friendly.

Tom was very kind and understanding, he put together a number of exercises which he talked me through, it was especially helpful that he sent them to me online as well so that I can continue to do them daily at home. He gave me confidence that with perseverance things will improve.

I saw Jill as I’m having trouble walking without a stick following a hip replacement. Jill was extremely kind and empathetic and encouraging. She instilled confidence in me which I was lacking. She gave me different exercises to do which seem to help after 24 hours. I am already grateful to her

I had an excellent session with Daniel. He diagnosed the problem causing my back pain and explained the issue in a clear and easy to understand manner. I am finding his recommended exercises very helpful and am no longer suffering the pain I previously experienced.

Attended a massage therapy with Rob to try amd loosen up a trapped nerve/muscle. By using hot stones, traditional deep tissue massage Rob was able to ease some of the tightness. Still some work to do. As always some good interaction yo establish the range of movement and try to locate the source of the issue.

Booked an appointment after developing sciatica in my right leg, contacted the Frome office they were very helpful and booked me in the next day to have manual therepy with Josh. Receptionists very welcoming and friendly, the building smart and clean, Josh was a star very knowledgeable, enthusiatic and kind, he went through my medical history and my current symptoms and proposed a course of treatment for me. The massage with hot stones was amazing I could feel the painful nerves in my leg relaxing. Josh gave me a set of exerises to complete each day. I will be following up with another few visits which I hope will improve my condition over time. I highly recommend the HATT clinic

I saw Zoe yesterday concerning my knee. I was delighted with her help and thorough assessment of my problem. She took time and care and listened attentively to all my thoughts. I was impressed by the pathway towards recovery with the initial help and exercises through to the follow up sessions which should enable me to be able to manage the issue and continue with the things I enjoy doing. It was a very professional approach and I felt in very safe hands. Zoe also directed me to another therapist who had expertise in a different area thus ensuring I received the best help possible. Obviously the 'proof will be in the pudding' but I feel in excellent hands and, providing I do my part in practising the exercises I was given, there should be happy outcome.

A very professional and personable approach from Craig. He spoke with Oliver to understand how and where the pain was. Craig performed tests, explaining what he was doing and why throughout. He confirmed the issues with Oliver’s feet and demonstrated stretches to support and improve his current condition, even showing him visual images on the iPad of why the soles of his feet are causing him pain
