My first appointment with Issy Anderson was for an initial assessment of the problem I was presenting: markedly decreased mobility after two wedge fractures. The appointment included taking a relevant history and hearing my hoped for outcomes. This was followed by a physical examination and massage, then rehearsal of four exercises that could be expected to help. (I have already received by email an illustrated exercise plan which includes videos).
The whole appointment was conducted in a friendly and thoroughly professional manner.
Since 2019 I've met four physiotherapists, two NHS and two private. None of them produced the immediate benefit I felt, and my wife noticed in terms of freedom of movement. Not a miracle cure, but a small, noticeable improvement.
My wife is very pleased that her urging me to take this step has such potential for improving my general mobility. I'm glad I let myself be mildly bullied to do so.
