Clinical team
Danny Burke’s story
When I was looking to move away from London I was really concerned that I wouldn’t be able to find a company that was as progressive and multi-disciplined as I was used to working at. Then I came across Hatt Health and Movement clinic. From the website, I was intrigued. I saw a company that wanted to be a leader in the industry and were open to doing it in an innovative way.
After my first interview and meeting multiple team members I immediately felt at home and started looking for somewhere to live should I get offered the role. I never thought I’d have been so excited to move back to Wiltshire. Fortunately, I did get the job and started a dual role split between the rehab and Pilates teams.
Since starting I have seen big improvements and changes in both teams. I have been given an opportunity to be involved in the planning and implementation of projects and in the recruitments process, which really feels like I’ve been able to help shape my own working environment.
Socially Hatt’s is a great place to work. I like everyone I work with and have made some genuine close friendships over the years. A big part of this is the social calendar. We have quarterly events throughout the year which have included weekends away surfing, pub quizzes, BBQs, and Christmas parties in Bath.
Between the quest for clinical excellence and spending great social time like this with peers, we have fostered a working environment that can challenge you professionally while still being friendly enough to encourage creativity (and fun).
